Is it just me, or are outdoor pillows way too expensive?

I bought regular pillow cases for about $10-12 each and I’m using them as outdoor throw cushions. I bought some Scotchgard that is designed for outdoor items, and now my inexpensive pillows resist water and sun damage. I saved a bunch of cash and I think you can, too!
Why do this? Simple. I don’t like typical outdoor pillows because:
1 — They’re usually VERY overpriced
2 — I don’t like the slippery sheen texture
3 — Not as comfy as a regular throw pillow
I want a pillow that fluffs and can be squeezed without slipping out of my arms like a greasy balloon. This was the perfect solution, if you ask me!
